Our Review:

The site is very well laid out and so it is easy to find your way around. It is more geared towards casual encounters than finding friendship or a committed relationship for its members, and there are plenty of women here for you to hook up with, though you will find women looking for more serious relationships, friendship and so on, so it has broad appeal.

One of the nice things about the site is that it's upfront and you don't have to go rooting around for basic information, as on some other sites. At the time of this review there were 34 million members registered, 110,021 of who were online. Most members are from the USA, UK and Europe.

It's free to join, you just need a valid email address in order to verify your membership. There's quite a cross-section of profiles here, from femme and lipstick lesbians, to androgynous and butch lesbians, not to mention bisexual and bi-curious women too. The kind of profile you get to view will depend on your membership level. Standard members get the less detailed preview profile, with a small thumbnail photo and basic information including age, location, orientation, looking for, relationship status, and a few physical characteristics.

Gold members have all this plus more information on physical characteristics, habits and sexual preferences. Whilst there are plenty of inactive profiles, some do go to the trouble of verifying their membership so you know that they are genuine.
